solidworks Threading effect between bolt and nut

I need to understand how to create the "effect" of threading two parts, male & female.  I don't mind it if it is bolt + nut, or whatever other parts, but what I need is to undertand how to do an assembly, how to use the available mate, to see the movility of a female threaded part around a male threaded part..
